Dan Solomon and P.J. Crowley hosted a fundraising reception for David yesterday evening with the support of Rabbi Jack Moline and Rabbi Brett Isserow in Dan’s home in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood. With a strong turnout despite the snow, David enjoyed the opportunity to introduce himself to a growing circle of supporters.“David is the right candidate at the right time for the Democratic Party in Virginia,” said Crowley, who was President Bill Clinton’s Special Assistant for National Security Affairs, referencing David’s military background. “We need David’s energy and experience in Richmond to make sure we are more secure while respecting our privacy and protecting the liberties that make us unique as a nation.”
David shared his strong vision for Northern Virginia and noted the energy and commitment his growing army of volunteers continue to devote to the campaign.
“My sincere thanks to Dan and Laura for opening their home to us, to Dan and P.J. for hosting, and to the host committee and guests for their generous support,” said David. “This is a race for the most votes, not the most money. I am confident that my campaign, my volunteers, and my message resonates with voters, and I thank you for helping to ensure we have all the resources we’ll need to win on June 14th and lead Northen Virginia into the future.”
