Kip, a middle school teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools, found the campaign after researching all of the candidates online. He made up his mind one Saturday morning, called Mara to volunteer for that afternoon’s canvass, and he’s been on the campaign trail every Tuesday night and every Saturday afternoon since.
When asked about his dedication to the campaign, Kip said, “I am volunteering for David because as a Civics teacher, I see it as my responsibility to work on behalf of better government and I think David Englin is the best qualified candidate for Virginia’s 45th District.”
Kip has not only volunteered himself, but has brought his friends and colleagues with him to get involved on the campaign.
“I am honored to have the support of a teacher as terrific as Kip,” said David. “He has shared his experiences and approach to teaching with me, and I’m reminded yet again of how important it is to support our educators. Kip is an asset to his school and an asset to the campaign . Thanks, Kip!”
