While volunteers kept up the fight at our second Wednesday Volunteer Night, David and Shayna joined Democratic officials, activists, and supporters this evening at Janet’s Java off of Telegraph Road for Fairfax Democrats United for David.
“The outpouring of support from fellow Democrats in the Mount Vernon and Lee parts of the 45th district both during the primary and since has really meant a lot to me,” said David. “I have said all along that whomever represents the 45th district in Richmond must strive to represent the 
entire district, from Fairfax to Alexandria to Arlington. I remain rock-solid in that commitment, and I’m so proud of the way Democrats from across the entire 45th district have come together to demonstrate their united support of the entire Democratic ticket.”
If you missed our Democrats United events in Alexandria or Fairfax, you can join other Democratic officials and activists next week in Arlington to show your support. Arlington Democrats United for David is Thursday, Sept. 29, 6 to 8 p.m. at Guapo’s in Shirlington, and the recommended contribution is $25. You can also join us this Sunday at Councilman Rob Krupicka’s home in Del Ray for a special Fall for the Arts fundraiser for David, including an auction of original art created by local elected officials.
