David joined Democratic officials, activists, and supporters yesterday evening at Guapo’s restaurant in Shirlington for Arlington Democrats United for David.
“The outpouring of support from fellow Democrats in
Arlington has really been amazing,” said David. “Even though I’m from Alexandria, my Arlington friends have embraced me as one of the family, one of their own.”
Yesterday’s event was hosted by delegates Bob Brink, Al Eisenberg, and Adam Ebbin; Arlington County Board Members Jay Fisette, Chris Zimmerman, Barbara Favola, Paul Ferguson, and Walter Tejada; Arlington Commissioner of the Revenue Ingrid Morroy, Arlington
Treasurer Francis O’Leary, Arlington Commonwealth’s Attorney Richard Trodden, Arlington Sheriff Beth Arthur, and Arlington County School Board Member Libby Garvey, one of David’s former primary opponents. Jim Turpin, Margo Horner, Jeff Liesemer, Peter Rousselot, Alfonso Lopez, Jane Bergen, Josh Israel, the Arlington County Democratic Committee, the Arlington Young Democrats, and the Virginia Partisans.
“I look forward to being part of such a terrific team in Arlington,” said David.
