ALEXANDRIA – The Virginia Chapter of the Sierra Club announced Monday that it endorses Del. David Englin (D-45) for re-election to the House of Delegates in this year’s November election. The Sierra Club is America’s oldest, largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization.
“We are in great need of leaders who will make the protection of the natural resources of the Commonwealth a top priority. Delegate David Englin is most definitely one of these leaders,” said Tyla Matteson, political chair of the Virginia Sierra Club. “We greatly value his commitment, as we continue to work for clean air, clean water, protection of green areas, and the most important fight of our time: to address global climate change.”
