ALEXANDRIA – The Virginia chapter of the National Association of Social Workers today announced that it endorses Del. David Englin (D-45) for re-election to the House of Delegates in this year’s November election.
“David stands out for his direct and unwavering commitment to social justice and equal rights for all Virginians, and he has been a strong and effective advocate for the families and children of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Arlington,” said Debra Riggs, Executive Director, NASW-VA.
“Social workers are in the trenches every day working to improve the lives of people throughout our community,” said Englin. “I’m proud to have their support, and I look forward to continuing our work together to give every member of our community a fair shake and an equal shot at the American dream.”
