After attending Caleb’s back to school night at Maury Elementary School, David and Shayna came home yesterday to another overflow crowd at Campaign Central, where supporters of all ages and from all across the 45th District gathered to do the grassroots work that will deliver victory on Nov. 6.
“Shayna and I keep expecting one of these Volunteer Nights to be slow — after all, after two and half years of doing this, we can’t always turn out new people, and we can’t always get through our entire workload, right?” said David.
“But once again, the house was absolutely packed, we welcomed five new volunteers, and we got through hundreds of contacts to voters and all manner of other work.”
“Thanks to you giving your time and energy to our cause, we continue to run the kind of positive, grassroots campaign that I’m confident will result in victory in November,” said David, thanking the crew. “I am so incredibly blessed and honored to have friends like you on our team.”
