Alexandria – Delegate David Englin (D-45) today launched his 2009 Constituent Survey to give residents of the 45th District a direct opportunity to share their views with him before the start of the 2009 session of the Virginia General Assembly, which begins Wednesday.
“With a $3 billion shortfall in the state budget and increasing economic strife, this will be perhaps the most challenging legislative session we have experienced in many years,” said Englin. “To help me represent you better, please take a few moments to complete this short, non-partisan constituent survey to share your views about some of the pressing issues we face.”
Residents of the 45th District are encouraged to visit www.davidenglin.org/survey to complete survey, which takes less than five minutes.
Throughout the General Assembly session and all year long, constituents may contact Englin to share their views or to request service or assistance at 703-549-3203 or DelDEnglin@house.virginia.gov.
Delegate David Englin is currently serving his second term in the Virginia House of Delegates, where he represents the 45th District, which includes parts of the City of Alexandria, Fairfax County, and Arlington County. He was first elected in November 2005 and won re-election in November 2007 with more than 64 percent of the vote. A Democratic Whip, he serves on the Privileges and Elections Committee, and the Health, Welfare, and Institutions Committee. For more information, visit www.davidenglin.org.
