An overflow turnout of Team Englin volunteers converged on Campaign Central (a.k.a.: David and Shayna’s home) last night for another successful evening of grassroots action, followed by an impromptu speech-watching party as the assembled crowd was inspired by President Obama’s address to Congress demanding action on health care reform.
“Thanks to your hard work, we reached hundreds of voters at their doors, on the phones, and in the mail, and we assembled hundreds of yard signs,” said David. “With friends like you working so hard for our collective future, I’m confident we will win on Nov. 3.”
David spent the early part of the evening knocking on doors and talking with voters in the Arlington part of the 45th District, and then he met with the Fairlington Citizens Association to discuss how they can help protect our neighborhoods from the I-395/95 HOT Lanes project.
