Caleb Englin is a seventh grader at Alexandria’s George Washington Middle School and is studying for his Bar Mitzvah at Beth El Hebrew Congregation. He enjoys lacrosse, basketball, and video games, and he can often be seen cruising the neighborhood on his longboard.
Caleb’s many claims to fame include stealing the show at a pre-election Get Out The Vote Rally in Alexandria’s Market Square, where, unfazed by T.V. cameras and dignitaries, he led the assembled crowd in the Pledge of Allegiance. Recently, he spontaneously argued the case for progressive tax reform in his Social Studies class, making his parents very proud.
